Independent applied-AI studio

AI that does real work — on hardware you already own.

The Institute builds practical systems for small operators and regulated care: they run on everyday hardware, keep sensitive records on-site, and earn their keep the day they go live — no cloud to trust, no pilot that never ends.

Programs

Two lines of work, one discipline: the smallest system that fully does the job.

Each program is in active use, not a demo. We keep the clients unnamed and the data where it belongs.

Operations · regulated care

AFH Autopilot

A complete operations platform for adult family homes — compliance binders, medication records, staff scheduling, resident intake, and the capture of scanned, faxed, and handwritten paperwork into clean structured records. Built local-first for homes with a handful of staff, so resident and employee data stays on the premises and never leaves for anyone's cloud.

Zeus Solutions

A private AI workspace built around the work an owner actually wants done. One operator runs many jobs through plain files and small, coordinated agents, with a lead agent that plans and steers the rest. The craft is restraint — useful AI without spending your days setting it up, and honest status at every step.

What we work on

Four problems we keep returning to.

01

Agentic orchestration

Many small agents against one queue, each finishing a whole task and reporting a status you can actually trust.

02

Local-first & private

Sensitive records stay on the device. The model comes to the data, not the other way around.

03

Document & media understanding

Turning scans, faxes, photos, and handwriting into structured records operators can rely on.

04

Speech & conversation

Full-duplex, human-sounding voice for operational tools — spoken to as easily as typed.

Contact

For research collaboration, pilots, or partnership.

We keep the work quiet and the clients unnamed. For operators in a corner software usually skips who want a system that respects that — start a conversation.
