Independent applied-AI studio

Working AI systems for the places software usually skips.

The Institute builds and studies practical AI for small operators, regulated care, and independent product lines — systems that run on everyday hardware, keep sensitive records on-site, and do real work the day they ship.

AFH Autopilot

An operations platform for adult family homes: compliance records, medication administration logs, staff scheduling, resident intake, and the capture of scanned, faxed, and handwritten documents into structured records. Built local-first for homes with a handful of staff — resident and employee data stays on the premises and never leaves for a cloud.

Zeus Solutions

A product line and agentic builder: tools that let one operator run many jobs through plain files and small, coordinated agents, with an agent that plans and steers the others. The discipline is restraint — the smallest system that fully does the job, with honest status at every step.

What we work on

01

Agentic orchestration

Many small agents against one queue, each finishing a whole task and reporting a status you can trust.

02

Local-first and privacy

Sensitive records stay on the device. The model comes to the data rather than the data going to the model.

03

Document and media understanding

Turning scans, faxes, photos, and handwriting into clean, structured records operators can rely on.

04

Speech and conversation

Full-duplex, human-sounding voice for operational tools, so the interface can be spoken to as easily as typed.
